The Queensland Art Gallery (QAG) and Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) are located 150 metres from each other, on the south bank of the Brisbane River. Entrance to both buildings is possible from Stanley Place, and the river front entrance to the Queensland Art Gallery is on Melbourne Street.
The Galleries are within easy walking distance to the city centre and South Bank Parklands.

The Gallery welcomes school and special interest adult groups. Bookings are required for groups of 10 or more. All school groups are self guided with the aid of dynamic online resources. Guided tours are offered for special interest adult groups. Interpreted tours for Deaf visitors depart from the Information Desk at QAG or GoMA on the last Sunday of the month. Please check the calendar for further details on times and venues.
Tours take place at either QAG or GoMA as scheduled. Assistive listening devices (FM system) are available for visitors with a hearing impairment. As the number of devices is limited, bookings are essential. Check the website for more details on times and venues. QAG wheelchair access is via the lift on the Upper Level of the Queensland Art Gallery car park, via ramps at the front entrance from Melbourne Street, or via the Street Level entrance on Stanley Place, located between both buildings.
GoMA wheelchair access is via the Street Level entrance on Stanley Place or via the lift from the Stanley Place car park.
