Lee Mingwei Gernika in sand

This project developed by artist Lee Mingwei re-creates Picasso’s famous work in sand. Midway through its display the artist returns to alter the work.

The Fairweather Room continues the Gallery’s history of documentation and scholarship of Ian Fairweather’s work and provides an opportunity for ongoing consideration of his achievements. The Gallery’s Collection serves as the basis for rotating displays, focusing on particular themes.
