Talking about Asia Pacific art series

Weekly Saturdays 6 February – 27 March 2010

The fourth in the Gallery’s lecture series developed in conjunction with major exhibitions, this eight-part illustrated series introduces and extends the ideas and themes explored in APT6. Focused talks explore the work of artists from specific geographical areas, while in-conversation talks highlight the experience of curators and scholars in the field, providing insights into cultural and historical contexts. Talking about Asia Pacific art is hosted by Dr Mark Pennings (Senior Lecturer, Visual Arts, Queensland University of Technology).
