  - QTIX box office at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre between 9.00am and 8.30pm, Monday to Saturday

Exhibition and Gallery hours

During ‘American Impressionism and Realism’, the Queensland Art Gallery opening hours are:

Monday to Friday 10.00am – 5.00pm
Saturday and Sunday 9.00am – 5.00pm
Public holidays 9.00am – 5.00pm
The exhibition closes at 5.00pm daily.

From 31 July, the exhibition and Gallery are open 5.30–9.30pm for The Met Up Late. Please note that Up Late is a separate ticketed event.

A Day at the Met package

During ‘American Impressionism and Realism: A Landmark Exhibition from the Met’, the Queensland Art Gallery is offering a range of special ticket packages for you to enjoy the entire exhibition experience, including The Age of Innocence film program presented by the Australian Cinémathèque. There is a package to suit everyone!

Please note: Daily capacities for ‘A Day at The Met’ packages apply. Packages are also available for purchase from the Queensland Art Gallery exhibition ticket desk, subject to availability. Please note that film screenings commence at 2.00pm promptly in Cinema A, Gallery of Modern Art.

Coffee special is redeemable in the Watermall Cafe and Exhibition Cafe (Queensland Art Gallery) or River Cafe (Gallery of Modern Art) on the day of your visit. The film pass is valid for the day of your booking only, and is not transferable.

South Bank dinner package

This special package includes tickets to the exhibition and a film screening, plus a dinner voucher to use at one of South Bank’s many acclaimed restaurants.  Tickets are available at the South Bank Visitor Centre, which is located at South Bank House (opposite Great Aussie Sweet Co. and next to the Plough Inn) on Stanley Street Plaza. The Visitor Centre is open from 9.00am to 5.00pm daily.
