Held in conjunction with her spectacular exhibition ‘Picture Park’, Katharina Grosse’s project for the Children’s Art Centre encouraged young visitors to engage with some of the artist’s ideas in an environment that appealed to their sense of play. ‘Picture Lab’ spanned both levels of the Children’s Art Centre spaces in GoMA, and featured an immersive maze structure on the Park Level for Kids to explore. A documentary screened upstairs, showing young audiences the different aspects of this international artist’s practice. Our cameras went behind the scenes with Katharina in her studio in Germany and on site at GoMA during the making of ‘Picture Park’.
